Is there experience in preparing guanidine HCl syrup?

We have made capsules until now, but there are problems with the preservation. I think at first sight that there is no problem to make a syrup, but have no data regarding stability, storage conditions...

Answer

The problems with the capsules are presumably due to the hygroscopic nature of the raw material. In the syrup this problem expires. I suspect no problems for as long as but not heated at high temperature. One speaks of dissolution at 160 ° C. An aqueous solution is neutral.

I would take my precautions for microbial decay. At the very least, all water should be boiled, the unladen bottle sterilized. I can't judge the taste. If sugar syrup is added, the non-syrup portion shall be stored with Nipa & #039; s.
