The following formula is no longer refundable since 01/12/2012 due to the presence of phenol and Diacode syrup. Can it be changed meaningfully taking into account a fee by the RIZIV?

R/Phenol 0.5 g
resorcinol 5g
Diacode Sir 40g
Muntspir 15g
Aqua ad 300g < BR/> As a painkiller I would use Lidoca ï nehcl instead of Diacode, as antiseptic I think of Chlorhexidinediglucon, but this is according to the Martindale incompatible with chlorides.

My solution is not so simple maarik see no other possibility. Indeed chlorhexidine does not tolerate chlorides. The TMF used in a mouthwash 80mg lidoca ï neHCl per 100ml. So I would take Lidoca ï NE base and according to found information the solubility would amount to 410MG/100ml. So, 80mg should be solved. But this has to be checked. Now disadvantage of this is the alkaline pH and therefore we can neutralize it with acetic acid. Indeed chlorhexidinediacetate is soluble in water. Using acetic acid We convert lidoca ï ne base into lidoca ï ne acetate.

Now there is still some math work. I would like to point out to you:

  1. Note the concentration of your acetic acid. Without a doubt, the concentrated acetic acid will need to be diluted.
  2. 1 mol acetic acid for 1 mol lidoca ï ne.
Add the amount of acetic acid prior to the water in which Lidoca ï ne is dissolved. The TMF uses 50g of sorbitol syrup per 100ml solution. You can optionally use 120g of Sirupus simplex for 300ml. The viscosity and the flavour are adjusted accordingly.
