We ask ourselves if we can deliver Zn gluconate to a child (21 months) and can this be in a syrup? Dose 40 mg 3 x daily
Answer
This is indeed a high dose. I as a dose can find 140 mg 1 x per day between meals with plenty of liquid. This for an adult! So best to contact the doctor. Converted for a child of 2 years, weight +/-15 kg This gives 30% of dose for adult.
I suspect that this is soluble in sugar syrup or sorbitol 70%
