Question
Posted on: March 25 2016Which excipients are best used for subsequent preparations for a premature: folic acid, Vit. C, Alfa Tocopherol acetate (each separately)
For folic acid, mannitol is recommended. For Vit C ev. Dried starch?
Or is it better used another excipients as it is for a premature?
Answer
from the book "Pharmaceutical Excipients" : In Pharmaceutical preparations mannitol is primarily used as a diluent (10 – 90% w/w) in tablet formulations, where it is or particular value since it is not hygroscopic and may thus be used with moisture-sensitive active ingredients.. So I think we can put it with 1 filler.
