What is the best preparation method for following recipe: Prednisolone 1 g erythromycin 2 G emulsify 4 G White Vaseline 46 g Aqua AD 100 g

The problem here is that the ointment is meanders after several minutes, the water comes out. Which ointment base is appropriate?

Answer

Probably a small mistake happened in the proportions. Normally the AVA cr è me 46 G water and 54 g petroleum jelly. So I would change the quantities to: White Vaseline 54 G, Aqua AD 100 g. Also increase the amount of emulsify with 2 G;
In principle, there should be no more problems now.
first prepare the W/O cr è me and then work the erythromycin in the FULLY COOLED cr è me. Erythromycin dissolves in water 2mg/ml; Which means that about half is solved. In the uncooled cr7egrave; Of course, me solves a larger amount, but a part will crystallize back afterwards. This can give a scratchy ointment.
