We have problems with PROTARGOL 50 MG, DT XX suppositories.

This has never been a problem in the past, but since the Protargol comes from another company, we no longer get pretty homogeneous. Certa admits that the product is now coming from another supplier and is made according to another production process. We used to do this by moisten the powder with Miglyol and rub it with half of the melted suppository mass. Now the result is a light grey suppository that is not uniform in colour.

Answer

Mix the Protargol with 150mg lactose powder per suppository in a small zetpilman and add 1g of water to this mixture and rub to obtain a beautiful smooth brown mass. If 1g is insufficient add another 0.5 g. Melt in another metal pan the suppository mass at 37 ° C. Rub the brown protarwave mass with an equal amount of melted suppository mass. Transfer the residual molten mass to the zetpilpan with a panlikker. Mix everything well and pour into suppository form. Watch the temperature!
