We have a problem with the following preparation: Ichtyol 2g texapon ASV 1.5 g propylene glycol 1.5 g isopropanol 120ml ether 60ml salicylic acid 5g triamcinolone-acetonide

60mg
castor oil 2g
Aqua AD 300ml < BR/> The Ichtyol does not really dissolve properly in the mixture and also causes the emergence of brown oil droplets.

Answer

I suspect that isopropanol and ether are causing your problem. I do not have many proposals. I would dissolve salicylic acid and triamcinolone in isopropanol, and then add ether, as well as propylene glycol and Texapon. This solution I would dilute with 100ml of water. Ichtyol is rubbed into a mortar with ricinus oil and 10g Tween 80. I would then gradually dilute this mixture and stir it with the solution of just above. Then the other water is brought to volume.
