Trituration of Ergotaminetartraat overdosing??

The dilution should not be overdosed. The capsules have the unit dose = < 10 mg). Ergotaminetartraat is diluted with diluent B TMF ( Secondary amine) with the addition of tartar acid. See TMF this to   reduce the risk of epimerisation to ergotaminin and to achieve the solubility of ergotamine from the lipophilic Suppo to the hydrophilic rectal fluid.

Considering you probably have a fairly strongly diluted trituration (2% or 5%) I would still consider to overdosing 5%. Chances of being above your magistal upper limit seem unlikely to me.

Tom van der Stockt   at this point: one knows I do not believe. I would overdosing them though. Your margin is so very small on low doses. The probability that there is more than 105% dose in your preparation is very small even with overdose... At the Dexa Gelullen cycle I had overdosed trituration and overdosed gelules. If I am not mistaken I was around 99% of the dose to prepare.
