A simple composition for a skin-whitening ointment

R/hydroquinone 6-15% br/> Retinoic acid 0.025-0.05% br/> Hydrocortisone acetate 1% br/> Nametabisulfite 0.4% br/> hydrophilic anionic cream up to 100%

Nametabisulfite can be replaced by ascorbic acid 1% br/> The use of Kojic acid is not recommended as this product seems to be highly irritating. br/> Hydrocortisone acetate is prophylactically added against the irritation given by hydroquinone and retinoic acid. br/> A thin layer is applied in the evening to the skin spots to be treated; In the morning these areas are covered with a total sunblock.
