Serlain (sertraline hydrochloride) concentrated solution Magijet?

Neither in the Martindale and Micromedex can I find info about the solubilities of sertraline. Serlain contains glycerol, ethanol, BHT and Levomenthol. Can you sometimes give me more information about relationships? Is there sometimes a formula of which stability is known? The patient should take 20 mg of sertraline per day in BV 10 ml

Answer

The concentrate copying is more difficult but a compound is available for a suspension with a dose of 10 mg/ml

The solubility data look like this:   Soluble in DMSO (> 25 mg/ml), Ethanol (10 mg/ml), water (3 mg/ml), 0.1 N HCl (0.51 mg/ml), isopropyl alcohol (4.3 mg/ml), chloroform (110 mg/ml), and dimethyl sulfoxide (147 mg/ml).

your dose is 2 mg/ml and according to the above data it should be possible Solution.

You can use following vehicle:   Xanthan Gum 50 mg, glycerin 10 ml, Sorbitol   70% solution 25 ml, after saccharin 100 mg, citric acid monohydrate 1.5 g, Na citrate 2 g, all 100 mg, K sorbate 100 mg, water ad 100 ml

The maintenance is 2 months.
