Problems with following preparation: Salicylic Acid 7% betamet diprop 180mg Lanette N 7g Cetiol DAB 7g aq cons AD 300ml

I have melted Lanette N and Cetiol and rubbed salicylic acid and betametdiprop into it, immediately thereafter small part of the hot water phase in it and done this core by ointment mill. Then core diluted with remaining quantity aq cons. Since still crumbling I have homogenized with a hand blender. My question is whether salicylic acid will not crystallize in it, since there is no component in which it dissolves.

Answer

There is a lot of salicylic acid in this preparation. According to me far too much. In the TMF, 3% Salicylic acid is added to Cortico & #039; s. Your doctor exaggerates a bit! Refer him to the TMF and ask him if you should not lower?

you should of course work with salicylic acid powder and you can make it finer with a coffee grinder. I would avoid an ointment roller.

I do not think that the amount of Cetiol is sufficient to rub the salicylic acid unless you are allowed to sink to a lower concentration.

I would in any case prepare the milk beforehand without any addition of medicine and once cooled then the medicines rub with the milk. In the end you can homogenize using the rod mixer.
