Question
Posted on: January 13 2016A physician prescribes guttae Bacimycini TMF Here, however, this does not occur in my version of TMF, does the doctor mean another formulary or is there a formula in the TMF anyway?
Answer
He regards Guttae Nasales Bacimycini PMF (practical Magijet Formularium KAVA)
R/bacitracin 5,000 IU; Neomycin sulfate 100 mg; Benzalkonium Chloride 1 mg and physiologically serum up to 20 ml.
For Benzalkonium chloride, you should make a solution 100 mg/100 ml being 1 ml (better still 1 g) for 20 ml of nasal droplets.
