Nystatin Content

Where can I find the level of nystatin back and what should I do with the moisture content?

Answer

Nystatin is a special substance in which the quantity and effectiveness is expressed in ' Bou ' and international units.

The exact content of Nystatin is always reflected on the manufacturer's Certificate of analysis. It is important to take into account the Vochte content of the powder. The value you see on the certificate of analysis is often indicated on the ' dry matter '. However, you should correct this for the moisture content that you will also find on the analytical certificate. Some manufacturers mention the ' as is ' content on the packaging: this will take into account the actual moisture content.

It should be noted that the preservation of nystatin in a humid environment (refrigerator) can cause the moisture content to rise.
