If the nasal rinse is made ' Rhinicur ' magijet, should potassium sulfate be replaced with potassium chloride or another potassium salt?

Answer

The composition of the mineral complex Rhinicur reads (in G/kg): Natural Emser salt 50, sodium hydrogen carbonate 205, sodium chloride 725 and potassium sulfate 20.
of natural Emser Salt is nevertheless attributed a favourable influence on the upper respiratory tract, so it is advisable to also look out for a supplier of this salt mixture.
a formula was published in 1931 for the preparation of "art" Ems salt. The composition (g) reads:
sodium iodide 0.02 sodium bromide 0.34 sodium chloride 900 Lithium chloride 2.90 Sodium hydrogen carbonate 2350 sodium sulfate anh. 30 sodium phosphate anh. 1.60 Potassium Sulfate 44
Given that we do not To do with a product that does not carry the label medicine but rather a CE number, the use of a very pure chemical quality (pro analysis) of potassium sulfate is not excluded. This is presumably available through your wholesaler.
