I would like to have some advice for the preparation of: Prednisolone 0.3 g chloramphenicol 3g Sulpho resorcinol 4.5 g Albichtyol 6g Spiritus 25g talk 5g ZnO 5g down. Sulfur 12g

LCD 12g
Aqua Rosa ad 150cc < BR/> without visc. Booster or humidifier, one gets pretty fast sediment, which, however, is very easy to manoeuvre. Is a humidifier needed, and if so which (Tween 80?)? Is a visc. Need, and if so which (Klucel?).

Answer

The necessity of a humidifier I see really has not seen LCD wetting properties. This should be evidenced by not overpowering the sulfur. As a viscosities enhancement substance I would use either Aerosil or Bentonite or Veegum. The concentration has to be selected as the spirit of the spirits will have a negative influence on their swelling ability. But in the booklet Galenic formulary you can find an analogue example.
