I need an ointment preparation with 10% urea, 8% lactic acid in Paneucerin Aqua. How can this be without schiften?

When preparing with Paneucerin, the ointment is immediately geschift. When we make the ointment base itself RDI Eucerin and water and there the ingredients directly in processing the ointment is not shaken but he also does not want to stiffen. How can we best solve this? Another ointment base?

Answer

Er Originals two solutions.

1. Emergency solution: Add to the current made cream, which does not want to be fixed glyceromonostearate or cetylcohol. Quantity =   5%? Half of unraised cream re-melt, add glyceromonostearate or cetyl alcohol and melt it. Homogenize and gradually add other part under good stirring, and let the whole stirring in the occasional stir cool.

2. In the new regulation, reduce the amount of water from 40% to 30%.
