How is a stable suspension prepared with sulfadiazine à 50 mg/ml for the preventive treatment of toxoplasmosis in children?

2.3 g NaOH dissolve in 20ml of water; after cooling loose therein on 10g sulfadiazine. On the other hand, mix 1 g Aerosil with 1.5 g of tragacanth in a mortar and rub this mixture with 5g of glycerin and then with 80g sorbitol syrup. Add the Sulfa solution (I).

Dissolve on 4g citric acid in 10ml water and add 10 Dr Tween 80 (II).

Add II to I under vigorous stirring and dilute with water stirring well; Add the required amount of conjugated solution of nipa esters in propylene glycol (NF) and mix. Transfer everything into a custom cylinder; Rinse and handle everything up to 200g (= 200ml).
