The usual dose is 3x10 drops per day. According to conversion (1 drop = 0.05 ml) This means a dosage of iodine of 75mg per day (> max. Daily dose of 60mg).

The droplet volume and also weight depend on many factors so that you are obliged to use the droplet counter to determine the weight. I would say so: Determine the weight of 20 drops of Lugoloplossing with the drip counter to use and make an average of the weight of 1 drop and of 10 drops. Then determine the weight of eg 20ml Lugoloplossing; In this weight protrudes then 1g iodine; and consequently, it can be calculated how much iodine occurs in 10 drops and compare this quantity with the maximum dose. If exceeded, Lugoloplossing should be diluted.
