How can I process these active products in the ointment? Diflucortolone valerate 0.6% chloramphenicol 4 G urea 10 g salicylic acid 3 G hydrophobic ointment AD 100 gram

< br/> I need to use for hydrophobic ointment Vaseline or the mixture white vaseline-liquid Paraffin wax (70/30).

Answer

It is not easy to interpret this requirement. Normally, hydrophobic ointment is either petroleum jelly or the mixture vasiline-paraffin. Urea will not easily be processed very nicely in these ointment bases unless perhaps with the new urea powder, which I have no experience with. For urea, the case will be simpler if you use AVA cr è me considering we have water available. So maybe best consult the doctor to ask what he prefers between the two possibilities??? The other products are finely rubbed as dry powder with the ointment base.
