Following preparation does not succeed: Lidocaine HCl 0.1% benzocaine 0.6% phenol 1% Menthol 1% Base Lotion AD 250ml

We use Cetomacrogol lotion NF6 and phenol Liq. If we make this so ready there is no nice emulsion and separation of the 2 phases occurs.

Answer

Use hydrophilic anionic emulsion TMF because of the suspected incompatibility between Cetomacrogol and phenol. Also lidocaine base instead of HCl.
