My suggestion is to use ephedrine base, which we neutralize with acetic acid. This will require a small calculation. It is better and safer to neutralize with diluted acetic acid!
We depart from glacial acetic acid containing 100% M/M vinegar and I suspect this is best diluted to 1% M/M. We make isotonic with after acetate so that we ë run a buffer system. After all, physiologically serum is not usable.
