We are asked to make a cough syrup with the following ingredients:
Paracetamol 650mg
Dextromethorphan HBr 20mg
(replaced by diphenhydramine HCl) 12.5 mg
Phenylefrine HCl 10mg
Syrup 30ml
FAC 300ml
This is an American green (eucalyptol) cough syrup that we need to namaken.
Paracetamol can be solved in alcohol but it strikes down as soon as we add Siropus simplex to it. How can we keep this in solution? The other ingredients do not give any problems.
