This cream with Clobetasol propionate is more fluid and fluid after 24 h. How to solve it?

Salicylic Acid 7 g, Clobetasol propionate 100 mg, cetyl alcohol 16 g, glycerin 20 g, almond oil 20 g, Cetomacrogol 1000 3 G, aqua AD 100 g

Answer

This is due to the incompatibility between salicylic acid and   POE chain, which also occurs in Cetomacrogol 1000. Use   after lauryl sulfate, even better after cetylstearyl sulfate but not available  ?? You can also use Lanette N eg 20 g but then you have to delete cetyl alcohol from the composition.

Use a 2  % trituration of Clobetasol propionate to obtain a homogeneous cream. Maybe you have a Unguator???
