Can miconazole be processed in the sour ear drops from the TMF?

Answer

The acid ear drops from the TMF also have hydrocortisone. If you omit it and replace it with Miconazole   then you will get an acid base reaction with formation of miconazole acetate. So you should definitely remove the acetic acid from the composition. I suspect that propylene glycol is sufficiently viscous and miconazole is sufficiently fine so that you can simply rub the miconazole with propylene glycol into a suspension.
