Can I add 30 g of Carell-Dakin solution to Locoid Lipocrème?

One recommended me to use Locoid Crelo because the cream will schift. Or do I use the cream anyway?

Answer

The composition of Locoid Lipocrème is the following:   hydrocortisone-17-Butyrate, Cetylstearyl alcohol – Macrogol 25 cetostearyl ether – Paraffin thin liquid – white petroleum jelly – propyl parahydroxybenzoate – benzyl Alcohol – anhydride citric acid – anhydride sodium citrate – purified water The composition of Locoid Crelo is the following:   hydrocortisone-17-Butyrate, Macrogol 25 cetostearyl Ether – Cetostearyl Alcohol – Paraffin solid – White petroleum jelly – borage oil-Butylhydroxytoluene – Propylene Glycol – trisodium citrate (anhydride) – Citric acid (anhydritic) – Propylparahydroxybenzoate – Butyl parahydroxybenzoate – water In the qualitative composition I see some minor differences between the 2 preparations. And consequently, I do not see why no Lipocrème should be used. By adding 30 ml of Carell-Dakin solution you will convert the cream into a liquid emulsion. You may have to warm up slightly. If you depart from the Crelo milk, I fear that you will obtain a very thin liquid preparation.
