A baby refuses the suspension ranitidine suspension TMF because of its taste

All the smell of mint lures negative reactions. Can the flavour be improved in some way?

Let us prepare   100 ml suspension and divide it into three equal parts in three vials:

1. In bottle I add   banana aroma instead of peppermint (taste and odour not optimal) 2. In bottle II we add raspberry aroma   Instead of peppermint (no pleasant smell, taste also not super but acceptable) 3. No flavouring is added to bottle III (  also no peppermint)   (no ideal odour and flavour). After all, at babies the taste is not yet brightly developed and perhaps the baby wants to take the latter without a dominant peppermint scent and some extra flavour  ?

In addition to the three bottles, we also give the mother a syringe to be able to administer the suspension without spoon.

RESULT  : It was possible to apply bottle III without excessive resistance using the syringe.
