Question
Posted on: September 4 2017Am looking for toothpaste without aroma, to prepare Magijet
Have a patient with awful lot of allergies.
After new tests it appears that they are also allergic to any aroma.
I have found some that are supposedly ' without taste ', but when you look at the composition there is always an aroma or a little menthol in it.
I wonder if it is not possible to make Magijet a toothpaste?
Answer
Following formula could be used: sorbitol syrup 40g; -Veegum HV (or Bentonite or Aerosil coll.) 15g ; -methyl cellulose High viscosity 3g; CMC Middle Viscositite 3g; Ca carbonate heavy 45g; after Lauryl sulfate 4, 5g and water up to 300 g
E Ventueel one can add 100 mg after saccharinate as well as NaF 230 mg
One product worries me a lot after lauryl sulfate, which is very allergen. Is better after cetylstearyl sulfate. But wouldn't it be possible to make a toothpaste with Tween 60 or 80?
