5% Amitriptyline Ointment. What basis do we use?

We need to make a 5% amitriptyline ointment. Which basis can best be used for this? The PLO base of the Bassron appears to be out of the trade. With a regular cold cream ' breaks ' the ointment...

Answer

I suppose you will prepare about fifty grams; still look out if the specimen exhibits efficacy.

You start with soft heating in the bowl (best with round bottom) 5 g soy lecithin to dissolve in 5 G isopropyl palmitate. Let cool

In addition, prepare a hydroxyethyl cellulosic gel: hydroxyethylcellulose 1.5 g, glycerin 4 G, sorbic acid 50 mg and water up to 40 g

The Amitryptiline HCL is mixed with the contents of the dish stirring well.

Then the contents of the scale are added to the Hydroxyethyl cellulosic gel under hard blending.

If you have an Unguator, the whole mix can be further improved.
