Not all iodine is in solution in the oil, there remains a mash at the bottom of the measuring cup. Is there a method to get this fully in solution,

Iodine 2% in Sterile Oil Injection
Place the iodine and sufficient almond oil to make 100-mL in a beaker.
Stir with a magnetic magnetic stirrer using very gentle heat until the iodine is dissolved, which may take several hours. Best to cover the beaker.
It says: Iodine Resublimed 2 G; M Maybe that "resublimed" is not insignificant. A resublimation can produce a pure iodine.
