The following composition gives a granulated mixture: Hexachlorfa 1g Menthol 0.5 g phenol 1g Crotamiton 5g mg stearate 10g talk ad 100g

This should be a nice powder mixture, but with me that is a mixture of granules and powder. I have gradually done the Crotamiton with the talc, then mixed the Hexachlorofone and the MG stearate. The phenol and menthol I have rubbed together in a mortar and then mixed the powder mixture. Can this formula be a nice homogeneous powder mixture?

Answer

I suspect so. I would dissolve all products except for MG stearate and talc in 10ml antiseptic solution. In addition, you mix MG stearate and talc and sprinkle under good stirring the alcoholic solution slowly on the powder mixture. Eventually you let the mixture rest under regular stirring until all the alcohol smell is gone.
