How do you prepare "Monsela's solution" to 0.5% in Gel Form?

It is based on iron subsulfate. And what would be the stability of this? This should serve as stypticum for index of blood.

Answer

I do not know this solution. I found a solution with 40 to 70% iron (III) subsulfate in water 30 to 60%. Then certainly 0.5% in a gel best not Ionogen BV. HPMC. Stability me unknown! But do you find this iron subsulfate?? Unless you will use another iron (III) salt?
