A rinsing agent based on sodium bicarbonate for Lichen planus?

Lichen Planus: A GP advises a rinse agent based on Natriumbicarbonaat.Na telephone contact with the doctor he knows me just to tell that it is just bicarbonate in water. Does anyone know the concentration and dosage: possible with water form a type of paste and rinse?

Answer

Sodium Bicarbonator has a limited solubility in water and is also slow soluble water. The maximum solubility in water is 9 g/100 ml. A commonly used concentration is 8.4%. Potassium bicarbonate has a better taste and solubility of 33 g/100 ml. Perhaps this can be consulted with the doctor if the price is not unreasonable?

If sodium bicarbonate is elected, the addition of either Bentonite or Aerosil (2%?) and a limited amount of water can be used to prepare a smearable paste.
