How to make a rectiole with Dormicum 2.5 mg

This is prescribed for a child of 4 years

Answer

In the package leaflet of Dormicum I can read: "The active ingredient is midazolam (as midazolam hydrochloride). In "Dormicum 15 mg/3   ml"   contains every 1 ml of liquid 5   mg midazolam (as midazolam hydrochloride).   so we take 1   ml of the solution in the Ampoule   for 2   Rectioles and   supplement with a solution of 3% Glycerin (isotonic) in water up to   2 X volume of rectiole. as a preservative, we use sorbic acid (0.1%). The pH of the   solution should be 4.   The shelf life we can set at 6 months, kept in the fridge.
