Glycerine Iodé

We have received a prescription for glycerin iodé.
KCl 1 gr
KI 2 gr
glycerin 30 g

This solves very slowly and insufficiently when mixing. KCl was slightly warmed up to dissolve and cooled, after adding AI colored the solution yellow.

How should this preparation be best made?
