An alternative to Monsel's solution?

A gynecologist used this as hemostatic THV vagina. This solution must be imported in too large quantities from the US and the Iron Subsulfate is not marketed in Belgi ë. On the website aluminium chloride is an alternative, but I find little back about the use of aluminum chloride vaginal. Is there another solution? We thought of Aluin solution, but also find little about it back.

Answer

  1. Next solution is described as bladder rinse to fix diffuse bleeding. It combines two products such as hemostatitic: Alum and tannic acid. It bears the name "Aqua it Monsel or Liquor tannicus Monsel" The composition is worded as follows: Alum 3g, tannic acid 1, 5g and water up to 100ml. A sterile solution is delivered In the context of the application described. For the gynaecological application described by you, this might be a bit far-fetched. Nevertheless, I would prepare the solution with sterilized water and deliver it in a sterilized bottle in a quantity adjusted to the consumption.
  2. a second possibility we find when using Ferrisulphate solution 0.5 à 1.25% and 0.5% respectively for tampons; lies in the line of the Monsel solution.
  3. Another possibility can be found at (Epsilon) Aminocapro ï acid 2 à 5% in the presence of Nipagine 0.2%, Nipasol 0.05% and EDTA 0.3%.
